Privacy
Short version: your files never leave your device. We could not look at them even if we wanted to.
Where your files go
Nowhere. When you add a file, your browser opens it from your own device and does all the work itself — merging, compressing, converting, signing, everything. The result is saved straight back to your device. No file is ever sent to us or to anyone else.
What gets downloaded to your browser
To do the work without a server, some tools need extra parts the first time:
- Word, Excel and PowerPoint tools use a document engine (about 80 MB). It downloads quietly in the background and is saved in your browser, so it is ready when you need it. On mobile data we ask first.
- AI tools (summarise, translate) use an AI model of about 1 GB. We always ask before downloading it. If your Chrome already has its built-in AI, nothing extra is downloaded.
You can remove these at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
What we count
We use Google Analytics to count visits, which tools are used and which settings people pick — for example “Compress PDF, Recommended”. We use this to show the most useful tools first. We never record file names, file contents, file sizes or anything you type.
Visitors in the European Union, the UK and Switzerland are asked first, and nothing is counted unless they accept. Elsewhere, counting starts when the page opens.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies to tell visits apart. In the EU, UK and Switzerland they are only set after you accept; your choice is remembered in your browser.
